Fortaleza y comodidadI built a fire pit area (see pic) and wanted some white Adirondack chairs to go around it. I also wanted polywood or something weather resistance that wont turn to a rotten/ moldy pile of crap in 2 seasons. I wasnt aware that these kinds of chairs cost as much as leasing a basic VW jetta for a month...but hey, learn something new every day. From what I could find, these were among the cheapest faux wood chairs I could find, that have solid reviews. Most places seem sold out too (November re-stock dates are useless for this summer lol). They arrived in 3 days and each in its own box. These arent super light weight just an FYI. Assembly is pretty easy (especially after the first one). FWIW - use an impact driver with a hex head atteachment... I cant imagine putting this damn things together using an allen key... would honestly take hours and your fingers will hurt like hell. Having somebody else hold the pieces together while you drive the first few bolts in would also help alot, but not totally needed. They feel super solid, weight a shit ton, and are reasonably comfy.Overall this is a great chair to have. We have had them a week now and no issues so far. They are a setup wonderful for us in the height and seat angle. I didn't want low Adirondack chair. It is a flat black color and looks good!Pros: Value, almost $100 less than most Resin/Plastic chairs and look the same. Weight, heavy enough to stand up to good wind gusts, but light enough to move easily. I would say 40 -45 lbs. Assembly, packaged well and easy to put the few screws that come with it.Cons: Quality, not terrible but a few fit and finish things i would have different. Armrest are not level and could use one more screw in the front to help with that. A drink will slide off if not careful. Some of the smaller pieces look more like fake that the rest. Do not over tighten the screws, had one strip out, but it still holds.Overall, this is a good buy for your patio if you are looking non wood chairs. we will see how they hold up over the next few months and update if needed.Update Sep 2021. I bought 4 more of these to make 10 in total. Sadly, the holes for the armrests weren’t drilled properly, which made for quite a pain in assembly in redrilling the holes for all 4 chairs. Other than that, my prior review stands. Biggest advice is order all at once. Color can vary slightly.Really solid, well crafted faux-wood Adirondack chair. Will survive the southern US elements much better than wood, I expect. I bought one to see how good it was actually built, and once I assembled it, I was quite pleased and ordered 4 more. You will be WELL off to use a drill motor with a hex bit attachment instead of the standard hex key it comes with. The holes are tight. The quality of the chair is tremendous for the price,; however, there are two concerns. The chair is difficult to assemble because the manufacturer has chosen to use torx t30 screws rather than bolts. They are very hard to screw in and you need an electric drill or electric screw driver. Also, you need a t30 bit which I doubt most people have. Doing it by hand will be exhausting. The screws are designed to bind into the plastic which I guarantee will strip with use and the chair will wobble. The good news is that most screws can be replaced with 1/4 inch stainless round head bolts and lock nuts. This will require re-drilling the holes but it will be easy. Enough said. The bolt threads were stripped out on every chair. Plastic is pretty flimsy. I purchased extra deck screws and made it work. Overall I would buy them again because of the price. These are not the same as other high-quality chairs.I was surprised by how expensive this constructed chair was, and I checked out 4 well known suppliers. I chose to pay extra shipping from the company, even though I have prime because I wanted this Grey brown color. They came as expected, required some managing to line up holes but assembled in 1.5 hours. They are short and don’t have as deep a seat as some, which is perfect for me, 5’ 4”. Taller people won’t have issues either as my husband it 6’. I’ve bought wicker, wood, and iron outdoor chairs. These I expect to last 20 years, won’t need painting, won’t fade, or break and warp. Hopefully worth the trouble free materials. Was pleased at how the blue chairs looked since they are made of composite material. They actually look like painted wood. The ability to fold the chairs is a nice feature. The assembly was not very difficult, the pieces all fit. They include a small plastic screwdriver and a small wrench. It speeds assembly if you have full sized tools such a a socket wrench set. I would like to buy a matching foot stool from this manufacturer but I did not see one on Amazon. All in all I am happy with my purchase.3 out of the 6 chairs have issues. Screws missing, screws not properly placed. The arms are not level or secure. Not very happy with this product.Easy to assemble and attractive looking and comfortable. Would recommend.
