It was easy to assembleIt took no time putting everything together! Loved how it all turned out! Very comfy to sit in.Here’s the short version: I had to return the set one week after buying it because rusty water came out of every orifice of every piece of this set after just ONE RAIN. I have a new deck with composite wood. I don’t need rust stains on it. No thanks. The metal itself started getting rusty too.The seller was kind enough to take the set back and refund me, although it was a pain in the neck repacking it in the box and sending it back. SAVE THE BOX UNTIL YOU FEEL LIKE THE SET IS WORTH KEEPING.Longer version: I would say “you get what you pay for” but ten years ago, this set probably would have been $50-75. Today, the price is still low compared to the CRAZY prices that places charge for patio sets.I weigh about 170 pounds & I feel like you cannot plop down on this set. It’s on the flimsy side & does not feel super sturdy. It feels like it could probably hold up to 250 pounds but that’s a stretch in my opinion.Overall, it’s comfortable enough to sit on for a short time, maybe 30 minutes but it doesn’t feel good enough to be comfortable for chilling over a few hours of having a party with guests or something. My advice: don’t buy this set if it will be stored outside with no roof covering it. As long as it isn’t being rained on, you’ll probably be okay. Unless rust stains don’t bother you.I needed something on the smaller size and this is perfect for our back porch. It was not too bad to put it together, some screws were harder than others, but overall I am very satisfied and I love the way it looks. We have not been sitting on it too much yet, but will be using it soon. Great value for the price, in my opinion.I do love this set. A few little things...... The love seat has a part on the bottom back to screw in, don't tighten everything until that's done. It won't line up right. The table is wobbly. had to tighten the legs already and had it for less than 1 month. Legs don't seem to be even. All in all, it is a good buy for the price. It does rust when left out. Don't recall if this set says rust proof. Even with the little "hiccups" with this product, I am glad I bought it. When we un-packaged the item, the material smelled like a barn. The smell went away with a good soap and water cleaning. The set is made of strong material,it’s perfect size for 4 people, and weather resistant.I have a small balcony/patio and this fit well on it. I wasn’t sure it would since I have a sizeable box on the patio for my A/C unit but I set it up so that it would fit all of it and adjust it to cover when no one is sitting on it. Great purchase.Do not attempt to put this together by yourself. It took my almost two hours to build the two chairs...and I’ve assembled A LOT of furniture. Once I had my husbands help, it wasn’t so bad. Some of the screws just would not go in and had to be almost forced, I think it was a threading issue. But, once we finally got the set together, it’s very nice. The caps to cover the screws are nice and keep everything looking sleek. Everything feels sturdy but if you have kids who lean back on two legs...don’t buy this, it’ll break it. For casual sitting and conversing with friends while drinking cocktails, this is perfect.
