I love the lounge chair option and shade cover was what made me purchase. The directions sucked! Took more time than anticipated to assemble. I already bought cover because I want to to last, and being cheaper I want to get as many years out of it as I canThis shipped fast, had great picture instructions, the hardware was CLEARLY marked. And it looks very nice.Concerns:- It went together well, but my daughter and I couldn't get the pneumatic connected without calling in extra muscle. That piece is NOT a one-person job. They rest could be. It took us 2 hrs start to finish.- The instructions say it shouldn't be in the rain or sun or it won't last "a couple years." I bought a separate cover for it. (It stacks really well and fits under a standard sofa cover.)- The bag the feet were in had damp sand inside. The pieces were dirty and rusty. All the other pieces were immaculate. We suspect they were returned parts? Waiting for the company to address and I will update this review.I love this product! It is comfortable, easy to arrange, and beautiful to look at.Assembly was very much like putting together IKEA furniture. The instructions are fairly clear but you have to pay attention to the details of the pictures and it takes some time. About 3 hours to put it all together with 2 people. You won’t be able to do this alone. It does have a lower back, so tall torso people will notice it. The cushions are very plush and that helps, but you may still be uncomfortable with the lower back. However, my husband is 6’3” and still enjoys it for hours, but he also doesn’t sit straight in it; he rather lounges on it. (Three seats across are long enough for him.) The two reclines work very well and we were impressed with their quality. Same with the canopy and the coffee table door. (The canopy has nice metal bars but one of the openings was slightly bent and we had to fix it before we could connect the pieces together.) The clips are a beast to get on and off, but it’s understandable why. They do a really good job holding the seats together. You may want to get something to help keep the cushions in place better, especially when using the recline. Overall we are really happy with the huge versatility this set offers and would recommend it to others.an ok product for the priceThis canopy daybed is so nice. In fact I’m sitting in it now. The only downside is the canopy blocks the breeze and it can get hot! I bought a couple of little rechargeable hanging fans and that helps a lot. Buy this set, you will like it.
