This chair looks better than the photos. It’s easy to assemble. I did it by myself. All the things needed for assembly are included in the package. It is very sturdy and not too heavy to move alone. It is a nice bench for the yard to enjoy the sunshine.A sturdy, no-frills bench at a reasonable price. It's fairly easy to put together, looks nice, solid. It sits on my front porch and makes a handy place for package delivery (see photos).I assembled this alone. It takes a little pre-planning and maneuvering but it can be done if you don't have any help (or you're impatient, like me, and don't want to wait). I weigh 400+lbs so I'm always a bit nervous/cautious about sitting on something new, this bench is solid and gives me no worries. So, why only 4-stars? The edges are a little rough in some places, it's closer to an unfinished do-it-yourself assembly project. I'm fine with it's "rustic" quality but if you are very particular you might not be happy with it as it is - you could very easily put a different finish on it or adapt it to your personal taste.Very disappointed. Poor Quality Assurance. The back of the bench was not finished and it snagged clothes. There is a gouge on the backrest. The arms of the bench are darker than the seat. The seat has rough places where it was not finished and the veneer has a minor split.Don't waste your time or money.(The customer service team was quick to rectify the issues. 5 in that category.)Liked that there were only 8 screws needed to put it together. Did not like that you definitely need some strength to screw them in. We’ll see if the bench lasts outdoors for a couple of years. The horizontal slats have 3 of the 8 slats developed cracks in the paint. Started after a few days outside. Will have to purchase a cushion to cover them.Nobody is going to use an Allen wrench to assemble, so be careful not to strip out the screws with home drill. We are using indoors in a loft space.Super cute on our vacation home front porch. Product arrived quickly and was pretty easy to put together but it's wood and it's nicked in places. Luckily most of them were on one side and we simply turned them to the back so they wouldn't be seen.Attractive bench. I wish it was a wee bit heavier.
