My wife and I bought these because they are very similar to the ones both our grandparents had in the 1960's, and just seeing the ad brought back good memories. We were not disappointed.These things are heavy and solidly built. Putting them together was a challenge at first but I got into the instruction writers head and then it went ok. We put them together on the living room floor and while they include a few cheap tools, its better to use your own if you can. Remember to only make the bolts hand tight until they are all in place, then put the wrench on them.The furniture itself is superior. I am a pretty good sized guy, close to the maximum weight they say the chairs can handle. They handle me with no problems. No bending, no groaning, no signs of distress at all. Plus the chairs are very comfortable. The glider is a little less so but still not bad.This is one of the purchases I have absolutely no regrets about.
