It's a very tight fit on a 44'x44" table--so tight that you have to pull each corner down a little at a time. However, this means no need for the straps!The quality is very nice...good, thick material. The gray color doesn't absorb a lot of heat from the sun, and the lining protects the table. Even after a rain, when the surface has collected water (due to a not-perfectly-smooth top), there is no moisture underneath. The matching chair covers are also great.
