Solid productGreat an amazingI bought this table cover November 12, 2021. I has done what I wanted, protected a newly powder coated finish on a patio table and 6 chairs from sun and weather. It was missing one of four buckles when I got it but was out of stock for replacement, so I kept it. Other than the problems mentioned, I would have given it five stars.I don't normally leave "reviews," but this Patio Watcher cover just survived Hurricane Florence (in North Carolina); so I had to leave some feedback! Firstly, I use the cover for my outdoor couch and cocktail table. Even though this particular cover is for a large eating table, it actually covers my sectional quite well. I just pull the extra ottoman underneath the cover (to make a rectangle between the sectional and small table. Then, this cover fits perfectly. It actually holds water (and doesn't leak), but I like to make a stack of pillows to cause the water to run off the sides rather than sit on top. (That keeps the mosquitoes away.)Anyway, to the big news: I contemplated pulling this furniture set into my garage during Hurricane Florence. However, I bought this cover so I didn't have to put my furniture in the garage! Therefore, I used this cover and left the furniture outside. (Granted, for wind control, I put several sandbags on the cover, and I tied the cover and furniture into a single bundle.) It worked great! As you can see in the photos (3 days after "Florence"), the cover and the furniture is still here! Also, when I removed the cover (the day after "Florence"), everything underneath was bone dry!The material is like a military-grade tarp. It reminds me of the tents we used in the Army. So, I like the style AND the protection it provides. I searched a long time for a cover without "seams" on top. This is the best cover I found, and I'm extremely happy with it. During normal weather, I don't even strap it down. For windy conditions (or long-term covering), you might want to augment the straps with an additional rope. Yet, for protection against the rain, this is the best cover. We received about 8" of rain in 24 hours during Hurricane Florence, and nothing under this cover was wet. [Note: I didn't give 5 stars because I don't give 5 stars for anything.]I bought this item Dec 2019 and it worked well but unfortunately it just got destroyed within a year of use. I live in Southern California. It looks like the sun and wind really did a number on it. It didn't even rain that much the past year. I was about to buy a new one but was really upset that it lasted only a year. On a whim I contacted the seller and they agreed to send me a new one. Makes me happy and feels like they did the responsible thing for me instead of trying to make a quick buck with a subpar item. I wish these things lasted longer and I'm hoping the replacement can at least last a couple years.I had to leave this review even if I hate doing that.Since my son bought this cover for his patio set I decided to order it for my furniture.I stored it in the garage for a few months and I was waiting for the bad weather to use it but, when his cover was torn apart in many areas, I offered mine to him. No better luck with the second one: after a few months of staying outside in the sun, this one was also torn apart too: in only one area, but a very big one. The problem with it might be because it’s too stiff. The price that we paid was almost twice compared to the current one: ($80 for each one). Waste of money. I would not recommend this cover for using it outside.
