Bought these for large covered patio to be comfortable watching tv. I sit for hours outside every day on patio overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. These chairs will not be directly exposed to water, but will occasionally get damp. They are light enough to move when needed, but they feel extremely sturdy. The cushions feel very dense and I expect them to stand up to long term sitting. All holes lined up properly and the whole assembly (unboxing and reading directions and assembly) took about an hour and one half. So far so good.
